We can start working together formally at any point during the high school years. I like to begin with a 2+ hour in-depth meeting, typically with parents and student. This will provide an initial assessment of the student's academic and non-academic profile and the family's broader goals
for the college planning process. Your initial questions can be addressed, and you can determine if if you'd like to continue working together. To continue, I offer two options:

Designed for families who want thorough assistance throughout the college planning process, as well as for those applying to multiple highly selective schools. This might include:
curriculum review; extracurricular and summer planning; standardized testing strategies; guidance for college research, visit planning, and final list construction;
essay topic brainstorming and multiple revisions as needed for all essays;
resume construction and organization for maximum impact;
strategic guidance for ED/EA and other application schedules;
complete application review with attention to detail and overall message;
guidance to obtain optimal letters of recommendation; interview practice and prep;
guidance--if deferred or wait-listed--to maximize acceptance chances;

hourly rate ($180) This can be utilized for circumscribed consultation related to any aspect of educational planning: college admissions, high school choices, transfer, graduate school.
